Privacy Policy

 

 This Policy is effective from October 16, 2023.

 

1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The Company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes.

2. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

1) Records on contract or subscription withdrawal, etc.

2) Records on payment and supply of goods, etc.

- Retention Period: 6 months

5) Records on access

- Retention Purposes: Article 15 (2) of the Act on the Protection of Communications Secrets and Article 41 of the Enforcement Decree 
- Retention Period: 3 months

 

3. Items of Personal Information to be Collected

The organization collects the following items of personal information for membership, consultation, service enrollment, etc.

1) Collected Items

   - Required: Name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home address, mobile phone number, email

   - Optional: Religion, occupation, marital status, hobbies

   - Automatically Collected Items: IP information, MAC information, usage history, access logs, cookies, access history, etc.

2) Methods of Collecting Personal Information: Homepage (membership registration), written form, membership registration via phone/fax

 

4. Procedure and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

The User's personal information is retained and used as follows, during the period which the Company provides services to the user. The Company shall immediately destroy or delete the personal information without delay in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company so that the collected personal information cannot be viewed or used in the event of withdrawal from membership (disconnection or withdrawal from membership in the case of users of the simple login/signup service) or any reason for destruction of the user's personal information, and shall also instruct the trustee to destroy the personal information when entrusting the processing of personal information.

1) Membership and Management: Until the time of membership withdrawal (or de-linking). However, i) in the event of an ongoing investigation in accordance with relevant laws and regulations: until completion of the investigation; ii) in the event of the settlement of a debt relationship based on the use of the service: until settlement of the debt relationship; iii) in the event of fraudulent accrual or use of points and coupons, or other reasons for membership and event restrictions: information shall be stored for six months from the time of withdrawal from the membership and then destroyed; and iv) in the event of multiple accounts using the same identification information: if the identity verification process is not completed for a certain period of time, collected information shall be immediately destroyed. In the case of destruction pursuant to this paragraph, if the relevant laws and regulations require the storage of all or part of the personal information, it shall be stored for a period of time in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and then destroyed.

2) Provision of Goods or Services: Until the completion of the supply of goods or services and the settlement of charges. However, if required by relevant laws and regulations, it will be kept for a period of time in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and then destroyed.

3) Marketing and Advertising Utilization: Upon withdrawal from membership, expiration of the retention period (as stipulated in the personal information collection and use agreement), or in the case of automatically generated information for the provision of customized advertisements, for up to two years from the time of cookie collection and then destroyed). However, the text message history regarding the notification of processing results for determining the existence of defects is destroyed one month after the text message is sent (the history of processing results itself is stored for 3 years and then destroyed).

 

5. Provision of Personal Information

In principle, the organization does not provide Users' personal information to outside parties, except in the following cases.

When the User has given prior consent - In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, or when requested by anti-fraud organizations for investigation purposes.

 

6. Consignment of Collected Personal Information

The Company entrusts handling tasks to external specialized companies to improve services, and in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company stipulates the necessary matters to ensure that personal information is managed safely when entrusting contracts.
